Lords Of Salem Movie Review

    Rob Zombie fans are a particular breed of masochist, I say this because I considered my self to be on until I saw this movie.  To say that this film is a jumbled incomprehensible mess would be to give it too much credit.  Rob's earlier films (house of a 100o corpses, rejects, the Halloween films and Superbeasto) all had a particular kind of edgy charm to them. So when I heard about the premise for the Lords of Salem I was very excited. The main problem with this movie his that he tries to cram 3 movies of ideas into one movies. If Mr. Zombie would pick a direction and stick with it prehaps he could make a movie worth seeing. As far as the content of the film Sherri Moon Zombie does a great job playing the ex-junkie radio personality and the supporting cast also do a good job. There are unnecessary scenes of satanic rituals and a nasty bit involving a baby but this is a Rob Zombie movie so what do you expect.  While some will be offended by this film for the content others will be offended by the fact it's barely a movie.  This is the kind of crap you could expect that 12 yr old who lives 3 houses down and wears slayer t-shirts all the time to film if he stole your camera. This is a huge step back for Mr. Zombie and is an exp best forgotten.
